Kirsty joined the Junior League of Edmonton in the spring of 2015 after looking for a way to give back and contribute to the community through volunteerism. It didn’t take long to realize not only was the league a great opportunity to give back to the community but to create long lasting friendships. Outside of the league, Kirsty throws herself passionately into her work as Executive Assistant at Averton Homes. Despite being a self-proclaimed workaholic she loves to take time to curl up with a good book, enjoy a glass of red with friends and making as many trips as she can home to Australia to see her family. Phalyn Chenard, Membership Director

Phalyn is in her third year of membership with the Junior League of Edmonton, and is serving in her second term on our Board of Directors. Having lived in several cities across Western Canada, the Junior League is one of the main reasons why Phalyn feels at home in Edmonton. The League connected her with the community, and gave her access to a network of like-minded women, which she now proudly refers to as friends. Professionally, Phalyn is a residential REALTOR® with Schmidt Realty Group and spends her days helping clients navigate the Edmonton and area real estate market. In her spare time, she enjoys planning her next vacation (or 10), exploring Edmonton and catching up with friends.
